Specific features of Japan Blue jeans

Japan Blue is one of the best known brands of the Japan Blue Group company, among world-famous names like Momotaro Jeans and Soulive, and less known niche brands such as Setto, Urvin, Crown Label and others.

The idea among new Japanese denim lovers is that "Japan Blue is almost the same as Momotaro, but at a budget friendly price" hardly does the brand any justice. If jeans from Momotaro are considered to be traditional ones, manufactured with all classic details and elements, then jeans from Japan Blue are more modern created mostly for young people. Their target audience are consumers who would like to get an authentic Japanese product and at the same time don’t care too much for classic jeans elements as, for example, hidden rivets on the back pockets, buttons in the style of vintage jeans, a vintage styled denims. Also, jeans from Japan Blue are perfect for people who choose their first pair of Japanese jeans and do not know in which direction it is better “to grow” - they can buy an affordable and high quality basic product.

Japan Blue offers highly sought after trending styles and many different types of denim, and this denim has nothing in common with Momotaro Jeans. Owning Collect mills, a weaving mill, and Rampuya, a dyeing company, they enjoy the freedom to continuously experiment with denim, and as a result creating affordable, yet competitive products.

CIRCLE JAPAN BLUE | DENIMIO PREMIUM JAPANESE DENIM

Yes, in the early stages, Japan Blue jeans had elements of the Momotaro Jeans branding, but this was not to confuse the consumer, but to show the continuity of the style of modern and young styled Japan Blue in relation to the more conservative Momotaro. Today, Japan Blue is a fully independent brand within the Japan Blue Group.

CIRCLE SERIES

Experiments with denim and jeans style inevitably led Japan Blue to the creation of a new product line. It is called Circle. It’s a simple and understandable concept, where the circle is divided into four parts. Each of the parts of the circle corresponds with a specific style.

The main distinctive element of the Circle jeans is the curved shape of the waistline. That cut allows them to make jeans more comfortable and ergonomic. The whole style of this direction is determined by the convenience and modern urban style of clothing.

Types of Denim

For Japanese jeans, in general, and Japan Blue, in particular, denim is the main element of the brand's identity and originality. As a rule, if you see a certain type of denim in a Japanese jeans, you should know that this is the result of very careful work, starting from the choice of cotton, the dye and ending with the weaving.
For the models of the Japan Blue Circle series, special types of denim were used, designed and developed specifically for this line.

- It looks almost like wild-grown cotton, somewhat wild and uneven
