This is a working shirt inspired by MILTON F GOODMAN SHIRTS advertisement.Reliance Manufacturing Company is the manufacture of BIGYANK, which was founded by “Milton F Goodman”.I was fascinated with an innovative working shirt of Relianec MFG Co in early 20th century while I was researching history of woking shirts. And eventually I got an email from Milton F Goodman’s great-grandchild 10 years ago, when I started website of WORKERS. He asked me “why are you studying my ancestor?” in wonder.
Triple stitch lapped seam,vent holes used eyelets and cigarette pocket granted a patent...I arranged special sewing machines with a garment factory to reproduce those details as much as possible. Therefore I have a lot of nice memories with this working shirt.
This working shirt has many air vents and reinforced fabric is sewn by triple stitch on front and back. And those functions, reinforced fabric and air vents, make a style of working shirts. We’re using selvedge material for this shirt and we were very particular about chambray material. Since this is a classic shirt, mind as well use classic materials.
Gray, yarn weight and fabric are same with Blue, but colored threads are dyed gray.
