ONI275 20oz Awa Sumi x Awa Shoai Denim Regular Straight
This special denim fabric is woven at a heritage indigo dyeing workshop in Tokushima, Japan. The yarns are all hand-tied and dyed using traditional Awa sumi (charcoal ink) and natural indigo techniques. The weaving is done on an antique loom still operated at the same workshop. Because both the dyeing and weaving are entirely handcrafted, the fabric features natural vertical variations in color, creating a unique depth and character that cannot be replicated by modern machines.
