Contest Rules and Terms

1. By entering the contest you agree to all the terms and conditions on this page. These rules and terms apply to both the broader contest and any mini battles/contests that will be conducted during the contest period.

2. The full contest will run exactly one year (ending at 00:00 Tokyo Time on the same date the contest started but the following year). The winner of the grand prize will be announced one month after the end of the contest. Length of mini battles/contests will be announced on the contest page as they happen.

3. Winners of mini battles/contests will be selected taking into consideration a number of factors (style, photo, likes, creativity, commitment, etc.) but the final decision rests wholly with us. Each winner for mini battles/contests will be selected independently, which means that you could win multiple mini battles.

4. The finalists and ultimate winner of the entire contest will be selected not only by looking at the final outcome of the evolution of their denim, but also taking into consideration their participation and performance throughout the contest. Fading will not be the only factor taken into consideration when judging the quality of the denim evolution and overall looks.

5. To submit a photo/video for the contest, you no longer need to send us an email. You can simply upload that photo/video on your Instagram account by using your team’s hashtag (#gdbteamoni or #gdbteamsamurai). Don’t forget to also hashtag #Denimio. If you hashtagged your team correctly, the photo will automatically appear on the contest page. If you cannot get an Instagram account (for example, you’re in a country that doesn’t allow Instagram), then simply send us an email to onixsamurai@denimio.com with your submissions and we will upload them on our Instagram with the relevant hashtag.

6.  We reserve the right to reject any photo/video entry for any reason and to crop/edit/alter any of your photos/videos. Photo will be automatically rejected if not your photo (we will do reverse image searches), in violation of copyrights, inappropriate or offensive.
