The “Montana,” known for its distinctive curved silhouette from the thighs to the hem, has been updated from a high-rise to a mid-rise fit. By slightly lowering the waist, it offers a more natural, relaxed balance that is comfortable and easy to wear.
Made from Kaihara stretch denim, the fabric combines the natural texture and authentic slub character of 100% cotton denim with comfortable stretch. Three types of slub yarns are used for the warp, creating natural, three-dimensional fading and a vintage-inspired appearance after processing.
The weft features CSY yarn with a polyurethane core for soft, flexible stretch. Kaihara’s original “D-Spec” rope-dyeing technique creates rich, high-contrast fading with wear, while the finishing process removes excess starch for a soft, comfortable hand feel.
Despite its voluminous silhouette, the “Montana Midrise” offers a relaxed, effortless look that works well with a wide range of styles.
