Made from an original sashiko fabric using yarn-dyed rope dyeing. While sashiko textiles can tend toward a heavy feel, this fabric was developed specifically for shirting — lightweight and soft without sacrificing the character of the weave.
Cut in a classic work shirt pattern. With continued wear, the rope-dyed fabric develops a rich, evolving patina unique to this dyeing method.

*Please note that due to the nature of the material, some shrinkage may occur when washing. Also, please avoid tumble drying as this may cause significant shrinkage. Please wash the item separately to avoid color transfer.
