This classic long-sleeve tee is knitted using the brand’s original COZUN method, developed on small-size, modified Taisho-era inspired sinker knitting machines. Operating at low tension and slow speed, these rare machines create a dense yet supple fabric that naturally molds to the body with wear.

For the first time, BARNS OUTFITTERS proudly introduces 2XL and 3XL sizes—made possible through a side-seam construction. This innovation allows larger sizes to be produced without compromising the brand’s signature fabric quality. Meanwhile, M–XL sizes maintain the traditional tubular knit body, offering a seamless, stress-free fit.

Each piece is crafted using a flat seamer with vintage American machines, providing smooth inner seams and exceptional comfort. The double V-gusset detail, once found on vintage sweatshirts, is reinterpreted here in T-shirt form for a refined yet classic appeal.

Finished in BARNS’ signature pigment dye, this garment develops a beautiful, sun-faded patina with age. Matching ribbed cuffs and hems are dyed in the same tone for consistent aging and depth.

The COZUN fabric uniquely combines loopwheel-like softness with sinker-knit resilience, resulting in a heavyweight structure built to last through years of wear.
