S101AX-SAKURA 18oz Indigo + Sakura Denim Jacket

Introducing a new concept from the Indigo+ collection: the Sakura Series.

The warp yarn is an original hard-twisted, slubby thread rope-dyed using a special method that blends both indigo dye and natural indigo. The weft yarn combines Samurai’s original “Samurai Cotton” with slubby threads dyed in a soft sakura pink, created from natural dye extracted from cherry blossoms.

This unique pairing results in a denim fabric with a deep indigo tone gently enhanced by a pink-beige sakura hue. Rope-dyeing ensures sharp fades similar to traditional indigo denim, but compared to Samurai’s standard fabrics, the aging process is slower and more refined—perfect for long-term wear and evolution. The selvedge also incorporates Indigo+ warp yarn, producing subtle color transitions along the edge.
