| Short Description | PBJ presents the XX-013 Tapered Slim. The special feature of this series is certainly its texture, the same as XX-003-005. PBJ used a special strong fibers dyed deep indigo to spin their threads and wove it together on a single shuttle loom to get strong rough texture perfect for jeans. The head of the weaving company made it possible to make a texture that is not made anywhere else and gave permission for the XX series. These denims are rather light only weighing 14 oz. The cut is tapered slim like XX-012 and is the narrowest fit in PBJ and is especially tight from the knees to the hem. |

Great pair of jeansThere isn't anything to fault. The fabric is great, the construction is impeccable.
Note the size and fit. Do try to size for your thighs and knees as they fit on the tight side. I usually wear a 28'' for Momotaro Tight Tapered fit and on Denimio's recommendation went for a pair in 27'' for the XX-013. The XX-013 fits quite a bit tighter through the thighs and knees.
Nonetheless, the fabric is slowly stretching out and if you have sized right, you will NOT regret the purchase. Mine are a little too small for me but I still have no regrets. They're that good. -

an important point ...This is great jeans, but they have one important feature that you should consider when buying, it is very conditional Tapered Slim, they are almost straight, the difference between the knee and the skirt is only 1 cm., While the thigh is quite broad ... !!!

Awesome!the front and back rise is a little too tight but otherwise it's an awesome fit! with only 14 oz it feels so light but the texture feels like its a heavyweight denim, love it! the sizing chart was pretty acurate too (TTS). i really love pbj's leaf detail behind the front buttons, and the leaf stitching on the back pocket, though i wished i could've been the blue leaf like the xx013 sold in BIG.

It's Pure Blue Japan, enough said!But seriously these are one of the best denim I have ever purchase. Denimio shipped these bad boys out really quickly. I would recommend the XX-013 to anyone if they're looking for an unsanforized indigo/white denim. The texture is unreal on these and the attention to detail is on another level. The 14oz is light enough to wear in 85 degree(F) weather but not for too long. Long story short, GET THEM YOU WON"T REGRET IT!
As for sizing, I recommend size for the thigh because the previous PBJ I ordered ended up shrinking quite a bit after a few soaks and make walking upstairs difficult. Below are some measurements for a size 29 to gauge how the denim shrinks with an initial warm soak.
