While the fabric initially stands out for its bold texture and rich uneven surface, it gradually softens and molds to your body over time, developing a supple, natural feel. The raised texture allows the fabric to touch the skin only at points, resulting in a remarkably smooth and airy comfort.

Sumi + Indigo (Hekiboku-iro,碧墨色)
We created this deep, expressive indigo blue by overdying indigo-dyed sashiko fabric with sumi (charcoal) dye. The process adds depth and natural variation in tone, giving the color a unique richness. Though it takes extra time and care, the result is a special shade exclusive to COLINA.
