This Henley-neck long-sleeve tee is made from an original 9.5oz jersey fabric. Easy to wear on its own and equally useful as a base layer under shirts, it’s a versatile piece built for daily rotation.
The collar is finished in a Henley rib, while the cuffs feature a textured rib knit for a subtle design accent. The placket uses the same rib as the cuffs and is finished with original cat’s-eye shell buttons engraved with “1605.” To prevent the rib from stretching out over time, a spun yarn is inserted to improve elasticity and shape retention. A brand name transfer print is placed at the hem for a clean finish.

The original 9.5oz jersey is knitted using different yarn counts—20 singles on the face and 30 singles on the back. To reduce twisting after washing (skewing), right-twist and left-twist cotton yarns are alternated during knitting. It is knitted on a loopback-style knitting machine with low tension, creating a soft, full hand feel with minimal stress on the fabric.
For Natural, the fabric uses undyed ecru yarn in its raw state. For colored options such as Gun Black, the garment is finished with sulfur dyeing, allowing the color to fade naturally over time—much like denim.
