Tanuki delivers the ultimate lightweight tee: the Geppaku or 月白
a word that describes the colour white with a blue tint
almost like the moonshine!
This generous silhouette gives you plenty room to breath and move around in the heat. The hand feel of this tee is incredibly
it's very soft but it has a certain crispness that reminds us of paper and linen. As always
the fabric is a little marvel: Tanuki developed a combed yarn
which means that the high quality cotton undergoes a final spinning process which removes about 15% to 20% of the short
immature fibres. Yarns with only long fibres are then aligned in parallel to become stronger and more durable. But the fabric also becomes softer to the touch and produces less fluffing.
Two of these yarns are then knitted together to create the Geppaku which is ideal for summer with its cool shade of white.
