'ONI-KIWAMI'
one of the 3 masterpiece denims in Oishi-San's career. The 16oz Kiwami denim has a rough texture with an unevenness that expresses the color of Awa-Shoai
which can only be expressed by KASE-ZOME (indigo blue hank dyeing)
but it's done with rope dyeing which makes them so much more affordable - and allows for great fades.
For the SEMI HANDMADE models (SHM) double stitch seams have been used in some parts of the jeans
while others display a flat felled seam
obtained by placing an edge inside a folded fabric edge and then stitching down the fold. The fold encloses the unprocessed edges to protect them from fraying.
