S0510XX-BOB 15oz Aoki Tachikage Black-on-Blue Regular Straight
15oz Black on Blue Denim Series: Tachikage
At first glance this looks like your usual black x black denim, but will later reveal itself to actually be made up of two colors. We use a special #6 slub yarn while the warp yarns undergo a 3-layer dyeing technique in which a black sulfide dye is applied after the indigo rope dyeing is completed. Over time, the black wears off to reveal the indigo, which then wears off to reveal the natural white core as would happen in normal jeans. This, combined with a black weft that will fade to grey, is a surefire recipe for awesomeness. The selvedge line is of course our signature silver lamé, reminding one of the samurai's blade.
The “Aoki Tachikage” series, inspired by the image of a samurai sword flashing in the darkness, is a here a 510 regular straight made of 15oz black-on-blue denim. Blue painted buttons, family crest patterned slacks, and stitching with navy threads are all unique to this model, which is designed to vibe with the denim itself.
