This is a special piece made from natural vegetable-tanned (“nume”) crocodile leather, carefully hand-stitched and hand-dyed. It represents COLINA’s idea of the ultimate “simple is best” mini wallet.
Focus on Size and Usability
The main focus during development was size and ease of use.
It fits perfectly in one hand and is compact enough to slip easily into your pants pocket without bulk. Instead of a zipper, it uses a snap-button closure, allowing you to access cash and cards quickly and smoothly.
Beyond functionality, material selection and craftsmanship were essential. The leather had to be rare, durable, and capable of developing a beautiful patina over time. Once we found the perfect leather, the production moved forward quickly, resulting in this finished piece.
Premium Vegetable-Tanned Crocodile
The main crocodile leather is extremely rare: it is fully vegetable-tanned in Japan, rich in tannins, and ideal for aging beautifully. Only A-grade hides with minimal blemishes are used.
The interior leather, pit-tanned vegetable-tanned leather from Tochigi Leather, will also develop a rich patina with use. It has a matte finish at first, with a very subtle sheen similar to nubuck crocodile.

The interior features an accordion (gusseted) construction divided into four sections. From front to back, the most convenient arrangement is:
There is also an exterior back pocket that fits 1–2 cards. It is ideal for storing a IC card.
Edge Finishing & Aging
Instead of painted edges, the wallet is finished with carefully polished edges. This method takes more time but prevents cracking or peeling over time. With use, the edges develop a natural sheen and character.
As you continue to use the wallet, the surface gains gloss and depth of color. In fact, the vegetable-tanned crocodile leather used here shows even more dramatic aging than the oil-rich vegetable-tanned Tochigi leather lining. This dynamic patina is one of its most distinctive features.
Built for Daily Use
The leather is highly durable and suitable for heavy daily use. Because of its compact size, it can be carried comfortably in your pocket, making it a true everyday main wallet.
It may feel slightly firm at first, but it will gradually soften and develop a rich luster with use.
