Lot.2405 Riders Jacket — Left Hand Denim

One of the most talked-about pieces from the 26SS lineup. This riders jacket is made from an original left-hand twill denim — woven in the reverse direction of standard twill, with the diagonal running upward to the left.

It shares the same fabric as the Denim Pants / Lot.1405 and Jacket / Lot.2406.

Left Hand Denim
An original 13oz left-hand twill selvedge denim constructed with a 7/- warp and 9/- weft. The yarn features a pronounced slub character, creating strong vertical fading lines as the denim breaks in over time.

Weaving in the same diagonal direction as the yarn twist tightens the weave and produces a sharp, defined twill line. Slowly woven on vintage shuttle looms and finished as greige — unsanforized and untreated — the fabric develops surface fuzz, natural twist, and a fluid, flowing fade unique to left-hand twill construction.

Left-hand twill is typically sanforized as standard practice, but TROPHY finishes the fabric as greige immediately after weaving — no post-process treatments applied. With wear, the denim softens and conforms to the body, developing a smooth, linear fade pattern known as "nagare-ochi."
