GY8714S Heavy Black T-shirt (Natural Sumi Ink Dye)-M

After the massive success of the Heavy Shinkai T-Shirt last year, Tanuki strike again.  The GS is a classic t-shirt with a balanced silhouette, not oversized, not too slim, just perfect. Using a thick slub yarn that feels like it's hand-spun and dyed with Japanese sumi ink with many amazing shades of black and dark grey. 

This is the t-shirt equivalent to your Japanese jeans: robust, indestructible, and even rope-dyed just like denim! Tanuki went all in and used yarns of different thickness and dyed them to varying degrees to create a somewhat freckled effect that will only become more pronounced with wear. Because this tee will fade beautifully over time. All the details are there too: 二 embroidery on the shoulder, reinforced blue ribs, and a lockstitch at the side seam in Tanuki blue.

They call this fabric the GYOTEN (暁天), the night at dawn, and that's a fitting name for this dark and versatile t-shirt that will dress you well both day and night.
