This work shirt is made from a jacquard check fabric inspired by traditional Japanese noragi workwear. The warp uses 16/- sulfur-dyed black rope-dyed yarn, while the weft uses 20/- black, yellow, and red yarns to create the check pattern.
The jacquard weave gives the fabric a three-dimensional texture, while the natural irregularity of the warp yarn adds further depth and character to the surface.
Design / Construction
The shirt incorporates classic workwear details, including symmetrical flapless chest pockets and reinforced elbow patches.
