Toshi-san the owner and designer spent years to develop this fabric from scratch. The combination of smooth cotton threads with thick linen which are loosely spun gives this fabric the character of handwoven fabric. The selvage ID will catch your eye. It is based on ancient Japanese patterns found in the archives in Japan’s prestigious Kurashiki Honten Teori Institute. Dyed in Indian red the structure is woven by hand. COTTLE fuses the century-old Kurashiki folk culture with modern streetwear influences. 'Slim straight' is zipper fly. The back pocket is slightly smaller than the straight.
