This denim is made from short staple American cotton and can only be made on one specially prepared power loom and the output is notoriously slow and the machine needs repaired quite often. Therefore, this 14oz denim doesn't come around very often. To make things even more interesting, ONI dyed the weft black.
To honor the long standing tradition of this denim, ONI resurrected their oldschool leather patch and added a removable denim flasher on the back pocket is a collector's item in itself.
