Ai+ (indigo dye)

Ai+ is a special 18 oz. denim that can be rope-dyed by mixing indigo with indigo dye and natural indigo using a special technique. The warp is made of an original high-twist, hard, uneven yarn, and the weft is made of a special, original uneven yarn mixed with Japanese cotton "Samurai Cotton" grown in Japan. The nep and strong roughness of the short fibers of the Japanese cotton give it a rough look, but at the same time, the color has a rich, beautiful indigo hue that cannot be achieved with indigo alone. The rope-dyeing process gives it the same fade as indigo denim, but you can enjoy a more gradual change compared to Samurai's standard indigo denim. The selvedges are also made with indigo+ warp yarn, and the color change of the selvedges cannot be overlooked.
