The 1605 Standard Dirt Denim is an aged heritage model that is designed to be worn for about three years.


In order to make the washed model the same size as the regular one-wash model we created a new pattern that calculates the shrinkage after processing.
The Dirt Denim is processed one by one by hand by craftsmen without causing excessive damage to the fabric while retaining its characteristic unevenness.
From this state the fabric evolves into an attractive texture as it is worn further.

DIRT DENIM
As the name suggests this denim has an uneven texture reminiscent of a road surface before it was paved.

It has the bounce and softness of a heavyweight and a nostalgic handmade feel. Both the warp and weft yarns are thicker and more even than usual.
The warp and weft yarns are thicker and more uneven than usual and the denim is woven on old power looms and shuttle looms giving it a unique material feel.

The old power loom which is rare even in the denim production area of Okayama does not have good production efficiency and requires craftsmanship cultivated over many years.
