241SH08 Natural Dyed Linen / Granpa Shirts

Design
This is COLINA’s most classic and enduring shirt—refined over 12 years through continuous updates and improvements. While it may appear simple at first glance, the design is thoughtfully based on vintage European Grandpa shirts, with a longer length and elegant band collar. The fit is tailored to follow the body’s natural curves, offering both a relaxed silhouette and freedom of movement. It blends a timeless, dressy look with a shape that suits the Japanese physique particularly well.

Fabric
Made from 100% linen poplin, this fabric has been a COLINA favorite for over a decade. It strikes the perfect balance of softness, structure, and breathability. With a slightly slubby texture and natural feel, it offers exceptional comfort and dries quickly. It's light and airy, yet not too sheer—ideal for wearing directly against the skin. A great example of linen at its best.

Color Options
Kakishibu Dye: A traditional Japanese dyeing technique using plant-based tannins. The color deepens over time with exposure to sunlight, creating a rich patina similar to aged leather. With wear and washing, it gradually fades, allowing you to enjoy its evolving character.
Sumi Dye: Made by blending carbon black with Kishu Binchotan charcoal, this method creates a uniquely textured, vintage-style black with subtle variations in tone. It's been a signature dyeing technique for COLINA for years, offering a rich fade and worn-in feel as it ages.

Details
Finished with small matte water buffalo buttons and pre-washed to minimize shrinkage, this shirt is made to be worn, washed, and enjoyed over time.
