Harvest L/S Shirt / TR-SH04
Inspired by 1960s chambray shirts, this 5oz selvedge chambray fabric was developed from the yarn stage to faithfully reproduce the original texture, expressing a natural uneven tone throughout.
Like denim, the yarn is rope-dyed, leaving the core undyed — allowing for rich color fading and aging over time.
Every step of production takes place in Okayama Prefecture, the heartland of Japanese denim. The fabric is slowly and carefully woven on vintage shuttle looms that have been in operation for over 50 years.
The 6.8oz indigo stripe is woven with 20-count yarn in both warp and weft. The natural sections use beige pre-dyed yarn, giving the fabric a more authentic retro character. The indigo yarn features rope-dyed white-core threads, developing beautiful patina with continued wear.
