Established in Osaka Prefecture in 1971, 'Kome-Sho-An' (Kounan Shokuryo), which started with the wholesale distribution of rice, is a specialty gift shop for rice. We carefully pack and deliver each item to ensure that you can enjoy the charm of 'rice,' a traditional staple and symbol of good luck in Japan, in a safe and secure manner. Kounan Shokuryo has obtained certification for the international food safety management system standard 'FSSC22000.'

We have jointly developed the 'Gold Award Winning Health Rice' with the Faculty of Agriculture at Kindai University. This rice retains more vitamin E than traditional rice and has been conveniently packaged into rice packs. It preserves the nutritional components around the germ of brown rice, achieving a balance between the 'deliciousness' and 'nutrition' that rice offers. Since the germ is retained, the rice has a slightly darker color than white rice. You can enjoy the freshly cooked taste by simply heating it in the microwave for 2 minutes. It can also be stored at room temperature, making it useful for daily use and emergency stockpiles.


For a microwave (500W), remove the seal up to the dotted line and heat for 2 minutes.
