The bomber jacket, a standard item for flight jackets, is made of indigo sashiko.
Sashiko is a thick cotton fabric woven with alternating cotton yarns, which was originally used for firefighting (fire extinguisher) "hanten" because it did not leave holes even if a few sparks of fire flew through it.c
The bomber jacket (almost synonymous with the MA-1) was used as a motif, and the silhouette was made modern and sleek.
The double-slider front zipper allows for easy adjustment of the silhouette.
Sleeve ribs are knit tightly without joints in the MA-1 style.
The stitching on the body is washed to give the fabric a worn-in look and feel.
