The designer, Toshi-san comments below;
"I spent two years from material planning to development, Standard type of COTTLE Five-pocket jeans were made.

I made the original fabric from yarn.

Cotton knot woven fabric is made of cotton knot loosely twisted to weft thread and thick linen thread, It fits the texture that feels the warmth of the hand-woven fabric.

The pocket cloth is "BIZEN ICHIGO" fabric that is student uniform clothes and also has fine high-density cotton.

For the selvedge, This selvedge has been inherited from the past at Kurashiki Honten Teori Institute, I adopted Indian Red(BENGARA) and indigo hand-woven fabric into the design.

For the desire to make something that will become what links the Kurashiki folk culture and the Kurashiki textile town. Cottle jeans are born.

"Slim straight" is zipper fly. 

The back pocket is slightly smaller than the straight.
