S0552XX 15oz "Otokogi" Selvedge Denim Jacket | Type II
Fabric
Made from Samurai Jeans' 15oz "Otokogi" selvedge denim. "Otokogi" expresses a sense of chivalrous spirit and courage. The fabric uses irregular #6 yarn with natural cotton debris such as small leaf and stem fragments intentionally left in, creating a rough, crisp texture with strong character.
With wear, the pronounced irregularity of the yarn produces distinctive vertical fading and high-contrast aging, allowing the surface to develop greater depth over time.
Design / Fit
Based on a classic Type II denim jacket, this model features dual chest pockets lined with Samurai Jeans' "Impermanence" pocket bag fabric and waist adjusters at the back. Signature details include iron sunrise buttons, copper coin-shaped rivets, and an exclusive leather patch.
Compared with a Type I jacket, the Type II has a slightly trimmer fit with a narrower and somewhat longer body, giving it a clean and balanced silhouette.
